BlackHawk Ranch has a very special llama that does a lot of PR work. J-Lo is slightly smaller then your average llama and she has a personality that is unbeatable. She has been to schools, pet stores, she's even had her picture taken with Santa. What a lucky llama.

The Llama Picnic is a service that we are trying to introduce. If you are interested please contact us and we will give it a whirl.
A Llama Picnic is a trip that you book with BlackHawk Ranch. We provide you with a lunch (or you can bring your own) and the llama and equipment to go farther into a park (Devil's Lake for instance) to have a picnic. You can lieseruly hike, without carrying anything (that's the llamas job). At Devil's Lake State Park the llama can go anywhere a dog can go.
The package includes 10 candid images of your day. No posed images please. This is a very laid back experience and a day to enjoy hiking with a llama.
BlackHawk Ranch is also trying to introduce the Photo Trek. Being professional photographers we always like to take our equipment a little farther. However, it gets heavy. This is the primary reason most photographers don't go on photo shoots into a mountain or a bluff. We've remedied that problem.
A photo trek takes place at a state park in the area and involves portraits being taken in a remote location. Someplace you typically would not be able to go due to restrictions of equipment. We will pack a llama to your destination and take portraits in scenic locations of your choosing. Packages are priced by the hour but full day packages are available.
CD's, prints and many other options are available for the finished product.
